TONY MARTIN's HEADLESS CROSS Will NOT Perform At U.K.'s HAMMERFEST II
March 4, 2010Former BLACK SABBATH singer Tony Martin's HEADLESS CROSS, whose live set celebrates the 20th anniversary of the release of the SABBATH album "Headless Cross", will NOT perform at this year's Hammerfest II festival, set to take place March 11-13, 2010 at Pontins, Prestatyn Sands, North Wales, United Kingdom.
Commented Martin: "It is with great disapointment that I have to tell you we have been removed from the U.K. metal fest. Yep, it's true!! We have been evicted from our first-ever U.K. show by the organisers and for the first time ever from an event!!!
"I'm not sure if I should be angry or parade it as a trophy!!!! Actually, that's stupid... Of course, we are very angry and we feel with good cause.
"Details will be posted in time but it is my duty to tell those that are intending to be there on our behalf that we will NOT be appearing on March 12th... we will NOT be appearing.
"Apologies to you all."
